Cities

Weird

Today's "well that's not something you see very often" was a man riding a bicycle along the footpath on the Mile End Road in London, rapping a commentary about what he could see. He wasn't asking for money or attention, it just seemed to be what he did.

This kind of thing seems to happen more often in cities than in towns and villages. The greater density of people leads to a greater density of encounters and therefore a higher chance of meeting someone with a bonkers way of life.

Fortunately, I didn't appear in his commentary, as he was complaining about the advert on a bus and approving of another bloke's choice of jacket.
