Sir John Mills died on Shakespeare's Birthday (as, indeed, did Shakespeare, at least he did using the dating system they had back then).

What does this mean?

I'll tell you what it means: it means that if Sir John had already submitted a postal vote for the up-coming general election, he'll have a say in who governs us even though he's dead.

Dying during a general election campaign should be banned by law.
