Cashless

Anecdote

So, it seems that the examination scripts weighed so much that my suitcase was overweight. It was taken off me at the gate and the next time I'll see it (I am assured) will be in Visby.

Fortunately, I had the presence of mind to remove my laptop before relinquishing control. Given how far I saw the baggage operators throw my bag when they were getting it off the plane, I don't know that my laptop would have survived. Unfortunately, my Swedish money was buried too deep within for me to get it out in the few seconds I had available, so I'm having to buy my tea and ice cream from what used to be Wayne's café in Sky City using a creditcard. This means I get ripped off on currency conversion as well as from airport pricing and the Swedish cost of living in general.

If my bag doesn't arrive in Visby, some students may have to be doing resits and I may be looking for a new job.

No way is this ice cream butterscoth flavour.
