Outburst

The Flappy raid in The Secret World is, annoyingly if you want to organise anything impromptu, every 3 hours. It normally takes around 15 minutes to kill Flappy. The group I was in this morning numbered fewer than half the number of people who normally do it, and it took 50 minutes to down Flappy. It was a rather epic fight, for which I received in my loot bag 3 third-age fragments. Or, put another way, just over half a percent of the 550 I need to buy anything meaningful with them.

I've also been running solo nightmare scenarios. These are tough, tough 30-minute instances and there's a lot of luck involved. I usually beat them, though. However, in the past 10 days, running 3 solo nightmare scenarios per day, I haven't seen a single purple augmnent drop. I don't see all that many blues, come to that, 1 or 2 at most.

Look, Funcom, if you want to use variable ratio reinforcement schedules, OK, that's up to you, but the rewards do actually have to be rewards.
