The Blog can be Written Now

Anecdote

My wife has an unusual way of giving me orders. Instead of just telling me to do something, she tells me that it can be done now. I get things like "your stuff can be taken out of the washing machine now", "the mattress can be turned over now", "those books can be put away now" and "this can be posted now". It's as if she thinks I've been waiting, chomping at the bit, for permission to recycle the newspapers or turn off the light or close the door.

This is what comes of having a wife who specifies object-oriented programming architectures for a living...
