Here's something I'm seeing much too much of these days:

I want to look at a web site, but I can't because it won't load, and it won't load because some external site is taking forever to respond with information I don't actually want to see anyway.

Why can't browsers load the rest of the page? Why do they have to wait on this stuff before they show anything at all?

Bah!
