Anecdote
Sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday last week, I lost my USB memory stick. I thought I'd wait a few days for it to turn up, but a few days have now passed. The way the universe works, I'm only going to find it if I go out and buy a new one, so I guess I'll have to do that. Except, now I've told you, I won't get it that way, either. Damn!
Oh well, at least I didn't lose any data — everything on there is a copy. I didn't even have my examination questions on it, as I had actually considered the vague possibility of its falling into enemy hands.
I wonder where it is?
