British Cures

Weird

I took my wife to the dentist today, so she could have 15 years' worth of treatment done in 20 minutes while sedated. I was given a set of instructions for what to do after I got her home, most of which were fairly obvious ("Do not drink alcohol or smoke for 24 hours" — ha! She doesn't drink smoke anyway!), but this one seemed a little weird:



Even assuming that they don't want me to knot a teabag, why a teabag? What do they do in countries where tea isn't as popular as it is here? And how bad will the tea taste after it's been brewing in your mouth for 20 minutes?
