I recognise the name Fudco. It's the spoof title given to a fictitious media conglomerate invented by Randy Farmer and Chip Morningstar, who developed the first-generation virtual world Habitat (still playable, as NeoHabitat).

I wonder if they know the fictitious company's name came from "fear, uncertainty and doubt corporation".
