JUE 20

Anecdote

I have three watches. The oldest one, I wear most of the time. The newest one, I got when the oldest one got wet inside and stopped working. The middle one, I got in Las Vegas when the oldest one ran out of battery. It's silver-coloured, so I only wear it when I'm going somewhere formal and silver looks better than gold, although I also used to take it with me on long trips in case the battery in the oldest one ran out.

Here's a photo of the oldest one, taken this morning:

Somehow, the day of the week has flipped into Spanish. I know I can probably change it by fiddling with the knob on the right, but all my attempts to do so have so far come to nothing. I may have to dismantle it and mess about with its innards using a pin.

I wouldn't care, but it isn't even the correct day of the week.
