Toothpaste

Anecdote

My wife keeps the bathroom window locked but slightly ajar in the summer, to allow for a breeze to take away the stifling heat that she insists would otherwise materialise and prevent us from sleeping properly.

We keep our toothpaste tubes in a little metal rack next to the bathroom window. This morning, I found that mine was covered in dozens of threads of cobweb that were strong and sharp, like thin steel wire. My wife's Colgate was untouched, of course, but the spiders really went for my Oral-B.

The spider responsible for this was nowhere to be seen. I'm hoping for both its and my wife's sake that it hasn't nested in her toothbrush.
