The Essex County Standard has so few reporters and so little news to report anyway that it's taken to buying in content from elsewhere to pad it out. This includes three or four pages of puzzles, among which this week was this:
I can see a yellow word in a green oval, but not a red word in a green rectangle.
When even the bought-in material is in need of copy-editing, you really have to wonder about how long local newspapers can last.
