Not 10, Downing Street

Anecdote

I was in London today for afternoon tea with my friend Eric. Unusually for a Sunday, the trains were actually trains, so I arrived in time to look for a place to while away three hours in pleasant game-design conversation. I thought I'd try the Royal Society of Arts, as I'm a FRSA and hope on occasion to gain some benefit for my yearly subscription fee.

It turned out that the RSA building was closed. The door had been rigged up to look like that of 10, Downing Street, and Hugh Laurie, the actor, was doing some acting there.

We went to the lobby of the Strand Palace hotel instead. I don't think the English Breakfast tea was actually English Breakfast, but as it was better I didn't complain.
