Anecdote
For the third year in a row, the university has changed its Moodle layout. This means I can't use the same images on my module pages as I did last year or the year before, so I had to redo them.
These are the images I'm using. They're all screenshots from computer games (I'll tell you which games tomorrow). Frighteningly, some of these games are older than my students.
Moodle is supposed to be a drag-and-drop tool, but I had to edit the HTML manually to get it to look right in places. Some of what it had there did nothing but took dozens of lines to do it. No wonder it takes so long to load.
