Not Juicy

Anecdote

My wife sent off for some wool from Amazon. She wanted it in red (official colour name: "juicy"). Here's what arrived.

This is blue (official colour name: "powder"). She filled in a form asking for a replacement on the basis that what had been delivered was not what she bought. She explained she'd been sent two powder and wanted two juicies.

With remarkable efficiency, Amazon speedily replaced her order. This is what she got back.

She decided she wasn't going to keep playing this game and asked for a refund.

She had yet to get around to returning the first order (she has until February to do it). To return it, she has to go to a local shop and drop it off there for FedEx to pick up. To return the second order, she has to go to the post office and use a prepaid label. Why returns for different purposes use different mechanisms is neither noted nor explained.

Needless to say, she isn't impressed.
