Anecdote
I was hoping the weather was going to be bad today so my wife wouldn't make me walk around Hillhouse Wood on her annual pilgrimage to see the bluebells. Unfortunately, the rain held off and I was unable to spin out my changing of the descaling crystals on our water system for long enough to save me.
It turned out to be quit pleasant.
Rather more people had dogs than usual, though, so I still have something about which I can complain.
