Anecdote
Today I have to drive:
my wife to the train station, then come home;
my daughter to the pharmacy where she has a summer job, then come home;
to Sainsbury's to buy a few groceries, then come home;
to the university to meet with a student for half an hour, then come home;
to pick my daughter up from the pharmacy, then come home;
to pick my wife up from the train station, then come home.
All in all, I'll be in the car for at least four hours.
I had such a glamorous idea of what it meant to be a professor of computer game design, too...
