Anecdote
I got a new pack of old cards today. This time, the "new" really does mean "new", rather than merely "new to me", as it's still in its tax wrapper, unopened:
The cards are probably about 100 years old. In all that time, no-one has broken the wrapperr and actually used them.
The deck feels a little light, so it's probably a Bezique set (missing a bunch of low cards).
I wonder what the cards look like?
I wonder how long I can hold out before I open it?
