Anecdote
Well, I wasn't expecting to see this when I went to work this morning:
It seems there was some kind of fight in the small hours of this morning and a young woman received a serious injury to her arm. The police cordoned off Square 1 to investigate.
This sort of thing doesn't happen very often at Essex University, so we're a little taken aback by it.
