The potholes in the road outside our house have had orange paint sprayed round them, or at least most of them have. I take this to mean that they're going to be filled in soon. According to the local council newsletter that arrived today, Colchester has so far fixed 50,000 potholes this year, with only 65,000 left.
It would appear that nature can generate potholes faster than Colchester council can repair them.
