On Air

Comment

My elder daughter, Jenny, was on BBC Radio Bristol this morning. She wasn't in Bristol — she had to go to Chelmsford to the BBC studio there — but the trains were working so she made it in time. The reason she was on was in her capacity as president of the university's Atheists, Agnostics and Secular Society, or, more informally, Queen of the Atheists. She was on a phone-in discussion panel with the Bishop of Bristol and a representative of the charity Christians Against Poverty on the theme of "has Christmas become too commercialised?".

It's available on the BBC Listen Again facility here. I haven't actually listened to it myself yet as I've been, er, wrapping Christmas presents...
