Collision Detection

Weird

Here's another wonderful example of what happens when you put a decent physics engine into a combat game (again, from Mount & Blade):



Lest you can't make out what's going on there, here's a close-up:



The arrow is going right through my horse's head and coming out of its eye. The horse, naturally enough, wasn't at all disturbed by this.

Maybe associating some functionality with the body parts that the collision detection system interacts with might be a good next step...
