Anecdote
I've just eaten a cranberry and orange cookie. I didn't read the packaging when I bought it, but it turned out to be a vegan cookie (that's vegan as in the eating fad, not as in the Vega star system).
Bleah.
I hadn't realised before quite how much difference animal fats make to a cookie. In future, I shall studiously avoid cookies that don't contain them.
They didn't even put sugar in it. What's anti-vegan about sugar?
