Anecdote
I got a text message from BT telling me they'll fix our phone line problem tomorrow. So, today has been spent with no Internet access.
It's been amazingly productive. I catalogued all my blog entries, papers and presentations so I can extract either their words or their points for the book I'm working on (MMOs FTW/MMOs WTF). I still have to look through my long, explanatory emails, and I need to scan through my Terra Nova postings from 2007 onwards, but at the moment it looks as if I only have another couple of hundred articles to write up.
Hmm, that's not looking good for a before-the-end-of-the-decade completion, then...
