Anecdote
My wife was late home yesterday because of what is usually described as a "person under a train". In other words, someone threw themself onto the rails at Ilford. The announcer on her train abandoned protocol, however, and stated there would be a delay because of a "severe fatality".
As opposed to one that's merely mild?
