Ad Homonym

Weird

Things you can say but can't write:

The farmer was sowing his fields.
His wife was sewing her dress.
They were both <insert word here>.

You can do it the other way, too:

The farmer was rowing with his wife.
Their daughter was rowing a boat.
All three were rowing.

Hmm, I wonder if this sort of thing works as a test for whether people subvocalise or not?
