Weather Censors

Here's a photo I took of the GMTV weather forecast this morning:



Yes, I know it's not entirely in focus... Hopefully, though, you can see enough to spot that the map is missing something: France. GMTV weather always misses France and the near continent off its reports, even though France is RIGHT THERE off the south coast.

Why not show France? It shows the Republic of Ireland, so why not France? Time was, it showed not only France but Belgium, the Netherlands and a piece of Norway; not any more, though...

Maybe the French don't want France to be shown?
