Anecdote
I found a package today that FedEx had wedged behind the light next to the door. Actually, some guy who was trying to get me to change to British Gas found it. Anyway, inside were Christmas presents for my daughters from my friend Frank.
The reason I'm blogging this is the labels he wrote on them: "To the strangely inventive Jenny" and "To the inventively strange Madeleine". Wow! Those descriptions are absolutely spot on! No way could I have summed anyone up so accurately yet so succinctly, and to do it using the same two words is quite remarkable.
What a gift!
