Anecdote
I wrote an article for The Conversation about one of the topics in my How to Be a God book. This will win me gamification points for university outreach.
I had not anticipated that I would have to answer a dozen emails from earnest crackpots this morning as a result (plus some from people who understand what I'm getting at).
I'm glad I didn't let the final series of edits proposed by the secondary editor go through, or I'd have been receiving emails about bad grammar and inconsistent style, too.
