Anecdote
I went to Colchester to get my hair cut today ("it grows in the university's time"). There seems to be a fashion among people in their 20s to smoke very small cigarettes, an inch long or so and very narrow.
I'd suggest that this was caused by smoking while wearing a face mask, but they weren't the kind of people who wear face masks.
