Anecdote
One of my nieces, her husband and their new baby visited us this weekend. We ate out for Sunday lunch.
This is the first time I've eaten out since February 2019, unless you count the chips we bought in Frinton around this time last year. I remember now why it was so popular.
It's good to know that some restaurants have made it this far through the pandemic without going under, anyway. Then again, the place we ate at had already survived the Great Plague of 1666, so it was probably never in any danger.
