Anecdote
My younger daughter told me she'd started listening to Christmas songs in her car. I started singing Joy to the World, and she exclaimed "No way! That was the one I was listening to! How did you know? How did you know?!". I really freaked her out.
Unfortunately, as I didn't know and had chosen that song pretty well at random, I freaked myself out too.
