Hidden Talent

Weird

I bought a baguette at the shop this morning. I used to do this when our kids were at home to eat with my wife's famous pasta, but with just two of us now we only need a baton, not a full baguette. However, I got one because I fancied some of it for lunch.

So did my wife. She cut herself some then asked if I wanted any. I said I did. She asked how much. I said eight inches. She cut off this piece:



She didn't use a ruler: I got that out so I could measure it and criticise her for giving me either too much or too little. Unfortunately for me, she was dead on.

It's not perhaps as good a super-power as having laser eyes, but it's still unnerving...
