I was supposed to be giving a keynote presentation in Leipzig today, but unfortunately can't be there. Everyone who would have been in the audience is sure to be a QBlog reader, though, so I've uploaded it here. It's about the effects that virtual worlds have on the real one.

Reminder: this is an online games conference populated by people who understand programming and the world that programmers inhabit. At the actual presentation, what the slides meant would have been apparent from what I said about them (eg. the weight of a worry is expressed as a complex number because it's largely imaginary); with just the slides, though, people who aren't savvy in the ways of computer manuals may wish to find a tame programmer to explain the format...
