Some houses have been constructed where an old hospital once stood in Colchester. They actually look quite good, especially from the roundabout at the bottom of the hill. Here's what they're like from the side (where I won't get run over photographing them):



The different colours, the sticky-out bits, the curve. Nice tricks, architect people, but I think buyers are eventually going to twig that it's still basically a terrace.
