All the speakers at the event I'm attending were given some flowers and a book. I've never been given a bouquet before in my life, so I'm quite chuffed about it.
Sadly, I won't be able to get them back into the UK, so will be unable to give them to my wife and make out that I bought them for her. I have my camera with me, though, so at least I have a record of my good fortune.
Hmm, maybe I should move them out of sight. After the strangely cold noodles I had for my evening meal, they're starting to look tasty...
