Unfortunate Spoonerisms

Weird

I've long had a lurking suspicion that the reason people say "bag of sugar" rather than "sugar bag" is because the latter is too tempting to mispronounce.

There's a sign in the local ASDA that says "Pot Snacks". They probably couldn't be challenged under the Trades Descriptions Act were they to use the Spoonerism instead.

When my brother bought a kitten for his children, he called it Flora. Flora is a cooking fat.
