I had my 31st letter published in The Independent today, concerning the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that I ranted about last week. It's my first letter of 2005.

I was thinking that maybe writing this blog would temper my desire to moan publicly about the state of the world in the letters page of a national newspaper, but it doesn't seem to have done so.

One of the other letters on the same subject was from Michael Grade, Chairman of the BBC Board of Governors, but I don't know whether he writes a blog or not...
