I particularly like the way the clone woman in blue is clasping her hands in awe as the clone woman in red demonstrates the use of a needle and cotton.
Perhaps it's the fact she's pulling red thread from a blue reel.

Weird
Here's a scan of a packet of needles my mum inherited from her aunt about 10 years ago. It dates from the 1950s.
