This is the home page of the interest group for genealogists interested in the SouthShields branch of the BARTLE family.

The SouthShields branch only gets its name because most of its members at the time of the 1881 Census were born there. They appear to have moved to South Shields from Leeds, Yorkshire, staying 15 or so years before relocating to Glasgow, Scotland.
