Anecdote
We had the final interviews for our next doctoral training centre intake today. I can't say how it went, except that it involved the same painful "first among equals" decisions as in previous years.
I did like this line one of the candidates wrote in their CV, which I believe was calculated to raise the smile that it did: "Interests: video games, reading, crocheting, cooking, eating chocolate and beanbags".
Someone's going to mention the Oxford comma, I just know it...
