Plane Speaking

Weird

While we were standing to get off the plane last night, there was a man who called his girlfriend and asked if she'd smoked his louis of something-or-other while he was in Amsterdam. He then said he'd sent her a couple of packages of something-or-other-else that was apparently equally high quality, but hadn't brought anything with him which was just as well because he'd been searched at the airport.

So, basically he'd been in Amsterdam to buy drugs to post back to the UK, and was telling the news to his drug-using girlfriend at the first opportunity.

It's as if people on mobile phones are unaware that what they say can be heard by individuals in their vicinity and not just the person at the other end of the line.
