Anecdote
My younger daughter passed her driving test this morning. She is now entitled to hurtle two tons of metal along the road without requiring that the be someone sitting alongside her warning YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE KERB or whatever.
Hmm, come to think of it, there's no whatever: every observation about her driving can basically be summed up as YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE KERB.
I'm quite pleased. It means I'm £45 a week better off from not having to pay for her lessons any more.
